Important Resources
I want to point out four blog-posts that I’ve made that serve as very important resources for anyone interested in solving the mysteries of the Rule of Rose game.
1. “Once Upon A Time” in Jennifer’s Own Words
This is a compilation of all of Jennifer’s statements about her formerly-forgotten-past in the chapter where she has finally regained all of her memories. The letters and diary entries of this chapter are not included here, however. Look for these in the appropriate document-based-time-line.

2. Document-based Time-line: Before Jennifer Arrived at the Orphanage
This post has all of the dated documents of the game (letters, diary entries, newspaper articles) that relate to the time-period before Jennifer started living at the orphanage. The documents are arranged in chronological order so as to give a reliable framework for a time-line of events.

3. Document-based Time-line: After Jennifer Arrived at the Orphanage
This post has all of the dated documents of the game (letters, diary entries, newspaper articles) that relate to the time-period during which Jennifer was living at the orphanage. The documents are arranged in chronological order so as to give a reliable framework for a time-line of events.

4. Documents of “The Goat Sisters” Chapter
This post has all of the documents to be found in “The Goat Sisters” chapter of Rule of Rose, except for “The Goat Sisters” storybook itself.

5. Rule of Rose Game Script, by TheSinnerChrono.
This game script has been very helpful to me for a long long time… BUT it has many omissions and some major errors too. It is still quite useful, but please remember to use it with caution.

Hello! Just found this game (already addicted) and your site. Love the comments here. I never would have guessed that a video game would have been responsible for so much discussion. All of the theories and guesses are making my gameplay much more interesting.
Welcome tipsywench!
PokerNemesis (and anyone else!), I hope you don’t mind my mentioning… with your extensive knowledge of this game, maybe you might want to work on the GiantBomb.com Rule of Rose page. If you haven’t heard of the site, it’s a newish game site created by some former GameSpot editors. Any user can sumbit content to the site, and I find it very addictive to add info and pictures to games! You can also work on or have pages created for characters, places, objects, and concepts. ^_^ The site has a ton of members for only being open a couple months. But sadly, the Rule of Rose page is pretty empty. I worked on it a little bit today, but I think someone who’s actually played the game would be more helpful. ~_~;
Anyways, I just thought I’d mention it. Sorry to bother you, but I honestly find the Giant Bomb site addictive and fun, so you might enjoy it!
Hi tipsywench! I’m fairly new here too. All the resources are great. There is alot to chew on in the RoR universe. It is incrediblity addictive. I can’t wait to see what happens to Jennifer next! Which reminds me… I gotta go. O.o
Thought I’d just let you know that number 7 & number 8 both link to the same thing.
Thanks, TheEndOfTheWorld. I’ve fixed it now.
hola wow ke buenos comentarios la verdad me pase el juego pero nunca me imagine que fuera tan profundo me gustaria saber si va a haber alguna segunda parte del juego seria grandioso ojala me puedan contestar
Hey PokerNemesis, I just wanted to say great job on these particular resources and the rest of the (continuing!) blog posts.
I just have one question. I wasn’t sure where to ask, so I’ll just ask here. It is something I could have sworn seeing in the game, and I just want to clarify.
There are moments in Rule of Rose where you’re able to freely explore the airship (within certain confinements of course). Was there a moment, perhaps in a particular chapter, where you’re able to lead Jennifer to the nose of the Airship (bow), or the back (stern). I remember there’s a moment where you get to some sort of deck with open doors, looking outside, and a similar moment when you walk along the top of the airship; these are not what I’m referring to.
I’m sure these locations show up on the map of the airship, but I’m not sure if they’re explorable. I guess the real question would be: is every square inch of the airship explorable?
Welcome, Senoculum!
You can visit the bow during the “Goat Sisters” chapter. Starting at Meg’s workshop, make a U-turn after ascending the stairs.
I remember the stern less clearly, but it seems to me that you can visit it during the “Mermaid Princess” chapter.
I don’t know of any specific areas that one cannot visit, but it would not surprise me if there are some such areas.
Hey ^-^ I just finished the game and this site helped tie together some of the loose ends. The game is really addictive and I’m replaying so that I can see the game in a different light (now that I now more about the story).
Welcome, HinaHina!
I’m glad you are finding that this site helps with the enjoyment of the game.
Dear PokerNemesis (and anyone else who is interested)
I and my Mother Alabama Worly are going to a Premeire and After Party too Halloween 2 by Rob Zombie
and My mother suggested i write something and give it too him “Take Every chance you get kid!” my Uncle always says ,haha.
Anywaaaaaaays~ i think a sure bet would be too write a Screenplay for this game. its very dark and emotional and i think it would peg Robbies intrest(and i think hes the only one with the guts to do it) . but the thing here is that im very good at forgeting the small things that make these dark mysterie storys brilliant. So this is where you guys come in, i need the very absolutly hidden stuff that almost everyone misses the first time around with this game. like if Mr hoffman REALLY raped Clara, how the killings went down, what Brown symbolizes stuff like that. Stuff you think should be brung up in the movie. I want your side. so please if you have the time send me an Email with Inportent stuff
norafingleberry@yahoo.com
Thank You KATMiKO11 :3
PS: oh can someone PLEASE give me a page of all the charictors Nicknames and what they mean! i keep forgeting and have to look it up. Its quite troublesome. Thank You.
PSS: i need this by the end of the month thats when the premeire is thank you.

Only the creators of the game know that. You should write them and ask them. If they tell you, please pass on to us what they revealed to you.
I just wanted to thank you for your hard work. I’ve been lurking here for a while and you’ve inspired me to go back to the game several times. At first I lost interest after completing it, but after reading this, I’ve started to see the game with bold new eyes. It seems to have layers upon layers and I would never have noticed half of the things you pointed out, which were so very interesting. Thanks to you, I’m replaying the game again and I’m loving it. So thank you muchly.
Welcome, RabbitKusabi ! Thanks for the words of appreciation.
