There was once a video on YouTube showing how motion-capture was used to create Jennifer’s actions at the beginning of the game, but that video (and the channel hosting it) have been removed due to copyright complaints.
I don’t know anything about any real-life models for any of the character designs.

hello PokerNemesis,
do you have any information about the ROR characters pattern actors?
i know that the Characters body movements been capture from japanese
children, and the voice actors are list in imdb, but surely the game design
team must capture the Characters appearance or faces from real west childrens and Adults…
do you know anything about that?

What an odd coincidence! I had not heard of stormfront (apparently a “white power” sort of group) before last weekend when I was led to their forum by searching the phrase “government negro” to see what meaning the phrase had (doing this because of Rick Santorum having expressed an uglier version of that term on the campaign trail). At any rate, the term was used as part of a title of a thread in their forum.

How pathetic that somebody is excited about this game simply because there are only white people in it! And excited that their “nordic features” are portrayed accurately (“everything from the correct tone of skin to hair and eye color to even down to formation and shape of the heads”)! I feel tempted to comment and point out that the characters sometimes gesture in a Japanese fashion, just to bum them out. But I definitely don’t want to register at their forum or interact with them there or here. They are a disgrace to my skin tone.
