Both lines, it seems to me, end in exclamation marks.
I think that the word “garden” might be the last word of the first line, and the second word of the second line.
I’d say the first line start with a B, i guess a word, a “,”, another word floowed by a “,” a word of three letters, maybe garden but the G seem short to me.
On the second line S, another word that look like garden but with a caps G ?, then two words of to letter, they seem to be “to be” for me. and a last word that i would guess being “happy”, but it don’t look very much so, unless wendy writes p and y very short.
so
B——-, ——–, — garden !
S—– garden to be —– !
Secret maybe ? it seems to be a t at the end of the word. secret garden to be ?
B???, ???, and garden!
Sweet garden in ??? ??? !
Maybe…?
I tried burning and changing the exposure but got little.
The first word looks like “Biscuits” . As much as I want those words to be garden, I don’t think it is. I mean, looking at how they’ve written their g’s before, it’s not an uppercase G and those blurs don’t look like a lowercase g.
The second word is really not much more than a scribble but the end of it somewhat looks likes “-late” so I’ll say it’s chocolate.
And the first word of the second line looks like sweet. I thought secret at first but sweet just seems like a better fit to me.
and the two words before the last look kind of like “to be” but that second word looks like an uppercase B. However, given my inability to find a better pair of words I’ll stick with it.
Biscuits, chocolate, and candies!
Sweet _____ to be ______!
I like it, Lexzl!
Could it be…
Biscuits, chocolate, and candies!
Sweet candies to be found!
~
In the second line the word starting with a capital G looks like the word ‘Guides’ to me. As in Sweet Guides? Which would make sense if they’re intended to be followed as trail markers?
Welcome, Gypsophile!
Your proposal has the virtue of tying in to the May 9 entry, which argues well for it.
So, perhaps,
Biscuits, chocolate, and candies!
Sweet guides to be found!
~
Wait, sweets would not be supposed to be given by Stray Dog? Its getting creepy here…
The last word in the second line appears to be “late”.
Here’s a picture with higher contrast. Or something. I don’t remember what I did exactly. What does the last word look like to you guys?

Edit: The more I am looking at it, the more the second line seems to be “S—— to be late!” The blob at the beginning of the line seems to be one word, considering the spaces between the other words in that line. The first line looks like “B—–, —–, and —–!”
We need to see if any blobs from the previously deciphered entries look similar to the blobs in this entry.
Edit: I made an album on photobucket with all of the pictures, and with text added to them to eliminate scrolling, if you want to check it out. Maybe someone can find some similarities in the blobs/letters…

The theory seems to definitely fit into the game:
Biscuits, Chocolate and Candies!
Sweet guides to be found!
We find all of these things in the game to help Jennifer survive the encounters that she has. I agree that the last item on the picture looks like it says chocolate. The picture resembles a wrapped chocolate bar.
While the things that Jennifer finds along the way aren’t necessarily guides, they definitely help her along her journey.

Could “guides” be “goodies”?
The letters between what looks like the ‘g’ and the ‘d’ look like two ‘o’s to me.
Welcome, Trang!
Hello PokerNemesis; I’ve just finished the game and found your site while looking for an analysis of it. The site is packed with content, but I feel a little lost, I dont know where to start reading. Can you suggest me a starting point, please?
Thanks in advance.
Welcome Raf!
The more you read, the more you can understand.
You can start searching theories about your favorite characters
Welcome, Raf!
Some people say that they read through my blog-posts in chronological order. The list of blog-post titles on the contents page (http://ruleofrosemysteries.com/contents/) are arranged that way. My theories (and those of the readers) have tended to evolve over time as each blog-post appeared, and so you would be traveling that same path of thought and discussion. But you might prefer a freer approach, and so you could try skimming over the first month’s blog-posts for titles that interest you, reading those, and then skimming over the titles of the second month, etc. Then you can still follow the evolution of thought while maintaining more spontaneity of choice.
Alternatively, it might be a good idea to start with the blog-posts that other readers have liked the most. You can find out which those were by skimming over the comment-thread here:
What Are Your Favorite “Rule of Rose Mystery” Blog-posts?

Thanks Grandpaf, and thank you, PokerNemesis, not only for the reply, but also for the awesome site
Ahh, pardon, Nox20 is my wordpress user. I almost got used to it. ^^;;
Sorry. But if you recognize the avatar, I’m Aynelle here, by the way. :3
As the comments have been posted, it’s about those foods…
But why foods? O_O
What biscuits, chocolates, and candies are for?
Stray Dog gives candies?
Taking into consideration that most of what the children know about Stray Dog is a lie from Wendy, it seems like maybe Wendy simply told the orphans the candy was Stray Dogs way of kidnapping kids in an attempt to keep them from following the candy trail if they ever happened to come across it.
the last line may be like,
Secret Garden to be found.
but i definately think it could be:
Biscuits, chocolate, and candies!
Sweet candies to be found
i think ta the last line may be:
Sure ____ to be fatal
Welcome, Vittor.
I know what the bottom of the entry says. It’s in the Rule of Rose manual on page 4, below the Preface. I believe it’s Gregory’s house (the Gingerbread House) and the rose garden outside it, with a trail with the words “sweet street” along it, ending with a bar of chocolate. This probably isn’t much help, but I just wanted to contribute due to my absence.

Sounds like a great find, Mokgrok! I’m so frustrated that I haven’t been able to find where my manual is hiding! I know I saw it on my desk not too long ago.
= w = That’s why I leave mine in the box.
Maybe there’s some other helpful stuff in the game manual, too.
I tried sharpening the image.

The last word on the second line seems to be indeed “late” or something among those lines. To me, it goes something like this:
B(…) (…), (…) (…) (…)!
S(…) (…) to be late!
Also, this blog has just brought back my lost interest for the game xD Must find it somewhere~
Ah, sorry for the double post, but second line = Sweet wonder to be late? Doesn’t sound coherent tough.
Welcome, scab!
I finally found my Rule of Rose software manual. As Mokgrok said, we can find this May 8 drawing on page 4 (Preface).
From this, let me direct your attention to the drawing at the beginning of this blog-post:
Following the path away from the rose garden, by the yellow dot along side of the path, there are the words “sweet street”.
At the end of the path is the word “chocolate” (this can be very clearly seen, when one looks at page 4).
On the path, midway between “sweet street” and “chocolate” is another pair of words, one of which is “sweet”. Unfortunately, on page 4 the other word is covered up by the overlay of a blue butterfly. So we can only see it in the picture above. The obscured word is written vertically on the page. Can you see it? Can you make out what it is?

Cool, I feel somewhat important.
Getting to the topic at hand, the obscured word looks like it begins with an “s”, so I think that it may be just the word “sweet street” repeated again. I could possibly be wrong, but that’s simply my input.
