maybe, I'll try them again in the future, given that real horror is not made anymore, 'cept for one or two a year, maybe, I may eventually have to replay games that were not so hot. The FF series is usually described as scary, I did not pick that up, more, like Italian 60's movie dark and gloomy. SD

the FF series, bought the first two, gameplay was a misery so tossed them.

I found the game-play to be very difficult, until I learned better tactics than what I was initially trying to do (such as my bad idea to try to fight battles looking through the camera the whole time). I don't think there are actually any bad game-play features, except perhaps at the end of ff2 when the last save is further back than I would have liked it to be. One has to develop skillz in fatal frame, definitely. One can't just button-mash one's way through the game. The reward for one's effort, though, is that the ff games are the scariest games out there.

@ LJ Bad,
For the quote ability: use > symbol-types instead of ] symbol-types, and use the word "blockquote" with and without / as you did.

Actually if that infinite food glitch hadn’t been there in Rule of Rose (I think it’s the Funeral chapter…) then I might not have finished the game the first time.

Hmm... I never really thought of that as a glitch. It just seemed to me to be an opportunity one could exploit.

When I get around to editing and uploading Part 2 of my YouTube video on "The Clover Field" storybook (probably this weekend sometime) there will be a glitch to be seen, caught on camera, that I had never seen before and that was so WTF that I decided I must include it rather than edit it out.
A friend of mine told me that unfixed glitches influenced the decision to not market the game in the U.S.
Yes, I think it was Reggie Fils-Aime himself who gave that as the reason for not releasing it here in the US. I heard that Nintendo asked Tecmo (I think they're the ones who do Fatal Frame) to fix the glitches, but they didn't get around to doing it, so Nintendo never released it anywhere but Japan.

I think it's a weak reason for not releasing. If glitches stopped me from playing games, then there'd be a ton of great games that I'd of never finished (Ocarina of Time comes to mind). Actually if that infinite food glitch hadn't been there in Rule of Rose (I think it's the Funeral chapter...) then I might not have finished the game the first time.

EDIT: oops, and here I thought I was gonna look all cool using quote brackets =) I guess I don't really know how they work.
