Welcome, mella!

On the idea that the original Joshua might have died from a swing accident, see the comments thread of my blog-post:

He may have died from falling off a swing (internal injuries) or something of the like.

But I think the main issue of this post isn't that he did or didn't die or that he should still be around.

PokerNemesis said:

I think the best evidence on that subject is the photo that Jennifer can find on Gregory’s desk. But, as I started writing about the photo, I came to realize that there was enough to say about it that I should save it for a blog-post.

That proves my theory wrong then. :D lol

fireflys_locket asks:

is the Rose Garden considered a part of the airship?

I've proposed that the rickety shed might have been regarded as part of the airship. So, if that is true, in theory the rose garden could be part of the airship as well.

But I can't think of any area of the airship that seems to me to be a transformation of the rose garden.

I already have tomorrow's blog-post written (and I promised someone--two days ago--I'd post that in one or two days), so look for my blog-post about the photo to appear on the day after tomorrow.

I can't really remember, but is there anywhere in the game that definitively proves Gregory had a son to begin with? I know in the letter from the police to Martha it said something about him being seen with a boy of similar description to his son (or something along those lines) but maybe he has always been unstable and there never was a real Joshua. Just different children dressed as him.
But then again I can't really remember much about the files found, and I'm sort of just rambling. lol

But if Wendy has to come from the orphanage to Gregory’s house to watch Jennifer, can Wendy still say “I always watch you from the sky” and have “from the sky” mean from the airship?

That's a good point. It might just be that she pretends that the window is a window in the airship, even when no other part of the Gingerbread House is. Or maybe when she says watches... it means more like she's just thinking about her from afar. Looking out the window and not actually seeing her, but maybe seeing the house and knowing she's in there.

This makes me wonder, though... is the Rose Garden considered a part of the airship? If not, then when an orphan (mostly Wendy) leaves the orphanage grounds, is it like the airship has landed? That probably seems like a silly question, though. I guess it depends on just how deeply the imaginary world was a part of them. Was it still it in their mind if they left? Or were they just not playing at that moment?

Maybe I'm thinking too much. Apologies. ^_^
