Anyway, if Jennifer was at Gregory's house before the orphanage, and if her airship did crash, killing everyone in it, why does she have a suitcase at the orphanage? It's unlikely that she would be able to find it after the airship crash and just as unlikely that Gregory gave her one, so where did it come from? Also, why did Mr. Hoffman so willingly let a girl into the orphanage without any of the assumed necesary paperwork? Or were things a little less strict when it came to adopting children back then?
